Nitrous oxide
Supplied to verified trade customers across the full commercial range — 8 g cream chargers through to 2.2 kg cylinders — for dessert service, beverage development, catering, food processing and wholesale resale.
Nitrous oxide is a colourless, non-flammable gas with a faintly sweet smell. In a commercial kitchen it does two jobs: it aerates, holding cream and other liquids as a stable foam, and it carries pressure, driving liquid into porous solids so that flavour transfers in minutes rather than over days.
Those two properties cover most of what trade buyers ask us for — whipped cream and dessert toppings on one side, infused spirits, syrups, bitters and cocktail foams on the other. A smaller set of customers use it in controlled food-processing work, where documentation matters more than volume. We quote all three the same way, and we ask what the gas is for before we quote any of them.

Rapid infusion
Pressure moves liquid into porous solids. What follows is the whole method; the variables that matter are the ingredient, the hold and the strain.
- 1 Charge Liquid and prepared solids go into a sealed whipper or infusion vessel; the vessel is charged with food-grade N₂O.
- 2 Hold Under pressure the liquid is driven into porous material — herbs, fruit, spice, nuts, bark — and flavour transfers quickly.
- 3 Vent and strain Releasing the pressure draws the flavour compounds out into the liquid. Strain, filter, and it is ready to serve.
Used for: cocktail infusions · botanical syrups · coffee and dessert flavours · bitters and tinctures · foams and mousses.

Nitrous oxide is a controlled substance in a growing number of markets.
Several jurisdictions now restrict its import, supply and possession where the intended use is recreational inhalation rather than food, beverage or processing work. The rules differ market by market, and it is the rules of the destination market that govern any order we accept.
WBOND Limited supplies N₂O only for legitimate culinary, beverage, food-processing and wholesale commercial use. Recreational supply is refused. In practice that means four standing conditions:
- No supply under 18 Condition 1
- We do not sell N₂O to anyone under 18. Photo identification is requested from first-time business buyers and the order is held until it is provided.
- Registered business Condition 2
- Every enquiry needs a registered company name, a company registration number and a stated commercial use. Operating address and delivery context are confirmed at quoting.
- Written reason Condition 3
- Each order carries a short written statement of the equipment, recipe or workflow the gas serves. Generic or unverifiable reasons pause the order for review.
- Volume caps Condition 4
- Per 30 days: up to 240 × 8 g chargers, 3 × 640 g cylinders, 6 × 2.2 kg cylinders. Higher volumes need written justification; attempts to work around the caps end the account.
We may refuse, pause or cancel any order where the stated use does not match its context, and purchasing patterns suggesting misuse are recorded and, where appropriate, referred to the authorities. If you believe a product of ours has been misused or sold inappropriately, write to support@wangbond.com.
Handling and safety
Cylinders and 8 g chargers hold liquefied gas under high pressure. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and use approved equipment.
- i 8 g chargers fit standard cream-whipper valves; 580 g, 640 g and 2.2 kg cylinders need an M10×1RH regulator.
- ii Chargers are non-aerosol and non-refillable, recyclable steel, for food use only.
- iii Store and operate between 3 °C and 50 °C.
- iv Maximum fill pressure for cream whippers is 35 kg/cm².
- v Keep out of reach of children. Do not transport by air.
- vi Empty chargers and cylinders fully before disposal, using the supplied discharge nozzle.
- vii Puncturing releases freezing gas — protect hands and face and wear gloves.
- viii High-pressure gas burns may not be immediately apparent. Seek medical advice at once if exposed.
